This blog has obviously been languishing. The internet has definitely moved beyond just blogging to keep circles of friends up to date with whats going on. My parents have joined FB for christsake.
I might put up a post every so often, but for the most part this blog will be an archive from now on...

Whoa an update!
Haha. Things have been a bit hectic, but it was all work related so I can't really blog about that kind of stuff here. Speaking of work, I have switched jobs recently and now work for a gov't agency. Woo hoo! Can't blog about that either though haha. Ah well. The LJ has more...
Luckily, it looks like this new job will be less soul sucking than the last and so I will possibly have a life and therefore stuff to blog about that isn't work related. The days are also getting longer and the weather is getting a lot warmer. Recently, I went to a jazz festival with Maiko, ate some local food at a Hawaii event at the Smithsonian, went to a few open houses at a bunch of embassies, and saw the first Death Note movie in theater (it failed because it was dubbed).
Saw a lot of movies recently actually. Indiana Jones (ehh), Narnia: Prince Caspian (pretty good- better than the first), and Speed Racer (RAIN!). I've also been hanging out a lot more with my roommates, bonding with the new intern at work, and doing a lot of random cleaning around the house. I really wanted to buy a reading chair and new window treatments for my room, but I might hold off on that for a while. The chair at least could prove to be quite a large purchase and I'm probably better off waiting on that...
Anyway, its late so I'll end the post there. Hopefully, the people next door stop partying soon xP

Time for an update! (Gasp!)
The LSAT went all right, but of course one always wishes for a better score. Ah well. I won't have to worry about that again until I start applying for law school. That'll either be for Fall 2009 or 2010. We'll see.
Anyway thats old news. More recently, the cherry blossoms were in bloom here in DC. I went to look at them a couple weeks ago around the Washington monument and Jefferson memorial.
More pictures on the Facebook for those with access.
I also saw The Flying Dutchman opera at the Kennedy Center last week. I liked it, but it moved kind of slow. Next time perhaps something Italian...
More updates in the next post which will hopefully be soon xP (More on the lj in the meantime)

So it just occurred to me that I haven't blogged about this yet... xD
I'm taking the LSAT this Saturday. Not all too nervous. I took the week off from work to study and relax/get away from work stress. It's really nice not to have to worry about anything but the LSAT... which is, of course, the rest of my life. So essentially this week is to focus on my future.
Every morning I've been taking a practice exam at the test center with the rest of the people in my class taking the LSAT at the same location. I know that school like the back of my hand now. No need to worry about getting lost looking for the test center or anything. My score has been increasing little by little. Hopefully it'll continue its upward trend. I already have a few schools in mind that I'd like to go to and of course the higher the score the better my chances.
Wish me luck!

*Sings* Oh the weather outside is... gorgeous? o_O;
Yahoo! Weather Current Conditions as of 7:52pm Partly Cloudy Feels Like: 64° High: 73° Low: 58°
It was warm yesterday and looks like it'll be warmish (50s) for the rest of the week. Part of me is a little worried about global warming, etc, but the other part is ecstatic that it's almost as warm as home. Sad news was that I was too swamped at work and couldn't go outside at all today ;__;
In other news, I've taken two practice LSATs since my class started up again and my score has been improving steadily. \:D/ To reach my goal however I need another 10-15 point increase. I need to start doing practice problems during my lunch breaks... =x

The holidays were great. I hardly turned on my comp when I was home. Back in DC now and upset at the prospect of work tomorrow/how cold it is...

Its late so I'll make this brief.
LSAT class is going well. Its more about learning strategies to get through the problems quicker with more confidence in your answers than anything else. There are a lot of neat tricks to dissecting the LSAT that are really interesting to learn. Also I find that I like the logic games section a lot. Theres no "more correct" answer, only THE answer. Stupid logical reasoning. I shall conquer you dammit if its the last thing I do!
Also, we are kitten-sitting again. :D Pictures to be uploaded later.
SO CUTE! ^_^

Its past 11pm and I just got back from my first LSAT class and I'm just blown away by the class and the instructor...
I was afraid that I'd have a horrible LSAT score and never be able to go to law school, etc etc. I have no fear now. Like none. Its amazing! Our instructor (though he prefers the term "coach") is... intense. Thats all I can say. Our classes are supposed to be 3 times a week, 4 hours each. He says its going to be more like 5 hours each with no food or rest breaks + 3 hours of homework per class. The course has 4 practice tests planned, but he's going to make us take 7 or 8 and will meet with all of us individually to discuss our practices scores and strategies (extra private tutoring for free). He's going to cover all of the material (other courses teach about half) and then extra stuff thats not mentioned that he thinks is worth learning. He wants us to take off the entire week before the LSAT itself for preparation and take practice LSATs at our actual test centers at least 3 times under test conditions each time in a different chair in a different room if there is more than one testing room at the location. His credentials are crazy (used to develop test questions for the companies that make the SATs, GREs and the LSAT), got a perfect on the LSAT, etc. He's really energetic and inspiring... he's going to work us into exhaustion, but we are definitely going to get our moneys worth! :D
We took a diagnostic test today and I'm pretty sure I'll be ok. My biggest problem was being efficient with my time which I can definitely improve through practice. I'm excited. My only concern is getting enough sleep these next two months... but come Feb I will fear no test!
